Valentine's Day is Right Around the Corner

Valentine's Day is the day on which lovers convey their love and emotions for one another by exchange of Valentine's notes (also known as "Valentines"), love messages and poems, Valentine cards, gifts, flowers, chocolates and even emoticons. Valentine's Day is a special holiday and the main focus of that day is and should be to express romantic love to that one special person.

Valentine's Day sneaks right up on us. Both men and women desire a romantic, private setting for their special Valentine's Day. Knowing exactly what men and women want could help some couples find sweet success this Valentine's Day.

People love each other and valentines day is to tell the person you love how much you love them. Some people just like Valentines day for the candy and other presents but Valentines day is a day to care about people. Valentines day is abou spending time with the people or person you love.

Valentine's Day is a day devoted to love and affection. Instead of getting close in front of the television, why not take your loved one on a nice romantic walk instead. Not only will your loved one thank you, but your heart will beat longer and healthier.

Despite the rise of electronic greeting cards, the most popular gifts on Feb 14th is a simple card. Why not bring those lovely words to your lips and express your feelings for your woman with a simple card. Touch her heart in the most special way with a wonderful Valentine's Day card.

Candy is a romantic classic, and can be very personal, reflecting the individual tastes of the person you love. Men are more likely to select dark chocolate, whereas women tend toward milk chocolate as the sexiest candy to give a spouse or significant other. While men and women may have specific preferences, candy has a place in everyone's heart on Valentine's Day.

The most popular gifts men plan to buy to say "Be Mine" is flowers. Many men purchase expensive bouquets of roses and other flowers for their sweethearts on these days. A bouquet of daisies (if she loves daisies) is more creative than a bouquet of any other kind of flowers.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Do you know what Valentine's Day is all about? I think that Valentine's day is the best day to tell the person you love that you love them. Love the person you are with, appreciate them for their differences and take the time to really let them know how much they add to your life and how much they mean to you.

Top 5 Bakugan Toys

This holiday season, Bakugan toys were at the top of almost every child's wish list. Stores could not keep them in stock and many parents were forced to pay a premium to purchase them on eBay to ensure their children received the ones they wanted so dearly.

Below you will find the latest list for the top 5 Bakugan toys of this season.

1. Bakugan Battle Brawlers battle pack - the pack contains 6 random bakugan marbles and 6 gate cards and 6 ability cards. This is enough for two children to play the official game.

2. Bakugan Battle Brawlers starter pack - this pack contains 3 random marbles and 3 gate cards and 3 ability cards. This is enough bakugan toys for one child to play the official game.

3. Bakugan Battle Brawlers booster pack - this pack contains just one bakugan marble and 1 gate card and 1 ability card. You are able to see which type on bakugan you are getting in this type of pack.

5. Bakugan Battle Brawlers Arena - This is the official "arena" for the battle game.

These toys are hard to find and when a store does get them in stock they tend to sell out very quickly. There seems to be no slowing down for the excitement over all of the bakugan toys. Crayola Glow Station - A Guys Review

Crayola has long been a trusted name in the toy world and with the Crayola Glow Station they live up to the name. I'm the uncle of twelve nieces and nephews (yes twelve) so I know a little about toy buying (trust me I know when I've given a dud toy!).

I recently purchased the Glow Station for my nephew on his birthday and must say I was impressed. The Glow Station is a poster sized, light sensitive canvas that uses a "light pen" to draw glow in the dark pictures. Use it free hand or use the many stencils it comes with to create "matterpieces" as my nephew calls them. However, these works of art can not be saved. They fade after five minutes or so.

The Crayola Glow Station can be hung on the wall and is recommended for ages six to fifteen but we placed it on the floor and let the two year old have at it. He absolutely loved it when we turned all the lights off and his artwork was glowing in the dark! I even wanted to try it out. Why couldn't they have toys like this when I was a kid?

My sister-in-law also found another great use for the Glow Station: Bed-time.
When you're telling the bed-time story just draw a few pictures to go along with it and in no time the little ones are out like a light. I think the glow in the dark effect lulls them off to sleep. It also works like a nightlight for a bit.

So, in my opinion, The Crayola Glow Station gets a big thumbs up! The canvas is very durable and cleans up well. Both the boys seem to love it and my brother and his wife are thankful for it's help making bed-time a little easier. It makes a great gift anytime of the year. I can't wait to use it outside when we camp out in the back yard!

Trust me, this is going to be a Hot Holiday Toy! Get a Great Deal Here before they're all sold out.

It's a great toy and alot of fun for the price. The controls allow you to alter the speed of the main rotor to alter the lift, also the speed of the tail rotor to turn the helicopter. With judicious application of the stick on weights you can balance the model so that it drifts forward when in stable flight. It takes a bit of practice to get this thing to go in roughly the direction you want it too but that is half the fun.

I got this from my wife as a Christmas present. I can't stop playing with it. It is so light and easy to control. The controls take some getting use to, but once mastered it is no problem. My two girls like watching flying low over there heads. I would highley recommend this as a gift.

Progression of Digital Camera Technology

Digital cameras are devices that record images digitally on a light sensitive sensor. They can be used to take still photographs or videos. Highly versatile, they can take thousands of images on a single memory device, can record video with sound, edit these images and delete them allowing re-use of space. Digital cameras have been incorporated into many other devices like PDA'S mobile phones and vehicles. The Hubble Space Telescope is a digital camera.

Initially, the idea of digitizing images on scanners was used by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to provide astronauts with navigational information. A mosaic photo sensor would record locations of planets and stars. This would help astronauts to orbit and land. The FUJI-DS-ISP 1986 was the first true digital device that recorded images in a computerized file. The first digital camera with LCD was the Casio QV-10 in 1995.The image resolution is achieved by the camera sensor that turns light into discrete signals. Millions of "buckets that make up the sensor, count the number of photons that strike it. The brightness of the image is dependant on the number of pixels (the smallest unit of information for an image).

The rapid technological improvements have dramatically reduced costs. "Pixels per dollar" has become the measurement of value of a digital camera. The camera either uses the single shot or the multi-shot method of capturing an image. This refers to the number of times the sensor is exposed to the light passing through the lens. Scanning is another method wherein the sensor moves like a desk-top scanner. In some cases, scanning is achieved by rotating the whole camera, enabling one to get images of a very high resolution. In recent years, technical improvements have made single shot and LCD based cameras very popular in commercial and digital photography.

Let us dwell on the connectivity of these new model digital cameras. Early computers used the Serial port to transfer data. There are cameras that use wireless connections via Bluetooth or IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi.Modern cameras come equipped with Pict Bridge Standard which allows for the automatic transfer of data to a Pict Bridge capable computer printer, thereby circumventing the need for a computer.

These cameras lend themselves to a variety of uses. They allow one to view a photograph as soon as it is taken. With constant improvements in technology, and cutting-edge software available, modifications and digital manipulations seem almost endless. They are ideal for sports enthusiasts, who can capture fast action in all its glory. They are ideal for capturing loving moments of family get-togethers. Professionals and amateurs can use these cameras to freeze those special moments of life that come rarely!
